IMMERSIVE GAME SPACE

Presented by The Go Game and Play Maestro, Motherboard BK is a new workshop in Brooklyn that combines immersive game design with the internet of things... and we want you to join us!  Building off of 15 years of game design experience, we are using this space to try out brand new concepts, push boundaries, and playtest wacky ideas. Games where you can control 3D lights from your phone, wearables that move sound, locks and lasers engage based on player actions, etc.  We are excited to launch this collaborative workspace of art, music, dance, tech, exploration & play.

Finnegan Kelly, the CEO of The Go Game, creator of the Karaoke Rickshaw, Creative Director of the Treat Social Club has set his sights on Brooklyn and the future of immersive entertainment.  Joining him in the effort is long-time collaborator and interactive experience architect Jenny Gottstein, recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2015 for her work in game design.  We've also enlisted the technological prowess of Symmetry Labs, who has created a custom wearable just for The Go Game.  They are also installing one of their spanking new LED chandeliers in our gallery space at the same time Eric Foreman is contributing the first LED installation along the downstairs wall.

We also want to thank Creator (Conceptions) for consulting on the interior design.  Additionally, Katya Stepanova and Cary Miler have contributed countless hours towards exterior design and the launch of the space.  Photo credit to Inna Shnayder
